MEETING MINUTES
Meeting held at Celia Evens house started at
1:30 pm with 9 adults and 5 youth members present. Treasury report I didn't get
the exact amount but it was approx,
Income- $2489.00
Expenses $2489.00
Balance- 1469.03
It was discuss and pass to have a DBL. Gold
Breeding Show in March. Judges to contact are Sara Martin, TX and Cherry Wilson,
TX. Also see if Canterbury will host. Have a Bronze Show in Sept. 2000

We also discussed about having a clinic/Fun Show
in Oct. 1999 pending an open date at Southern Showplace in Gainesville, FL Date
TBA.
Pony Sale is in progress if we can find an
auctioneer. To be held on a Tuesday during the Progressive Show Jumping @
Canterbury in February. Date & time TBA Mike Smith discussed a web page @
$75. for 2 years with a $25.00/month maintenance fee. Was voted on and passed to
take it out. You can place an ad for $5.00/month. Contact Mike Smith
Next meeting will be held at 11:30 before the
Benefit Trail Ride for Teri Heberling at Goethe State Forest Black Prone Trail.
Dir. Alt 27 to Bronson take 337 South about 7-10 on Right.
We are also starting to get together the
information on the Futurities to be add at the Sept. 2000 Bronze Show. More will
be in future newsletters.
If enough interest is generated we will also
incorporate a Stallion Service Auction @ the Nov. 27-28 1999 Show. It will be a
silent auction. Applications will be in the next newsletter and at the next
meeting.
We discussed about having year-end awards from
the three shows to be held next year in March, Sept. and Nov.
Meeting adjourned @ 3:00pm Then everyone went on
a trail ride thru Celia's.
FYI Classified ads are free for members.
RAFFLES
Lender's Leather is donating a custom hand made miniature
western saddles to SWA to be raffled off. The retail price is $220.00. Her
husband is also making a small tack trunk and grooming box to be raffled off
also. I will have the saddle at all the meetings and we will have the drawing at
the November show. Tickets are $1.00 or 7 for $5.00.
SWA will also be holding 50/50 raffles at the
meetings and Horse Shows. So be looking out for our tables.
